Antonia
Bucharest
I’m Antonia, originally from Bucharest, currently on a trip through South America for an indefinite period of time! I’m a former athlete, in love with every kind of outdoor activity, and always with a huge zest for life, bad jokes and silliness! Slowly building a nomadic lifestyle, at least for a couple of years. I’ll be doing a mix of traveling and working, which has been my lifelong dream. I’m a coach and I work with people going through burnout. I absolutely love my job and the kind of path I am carving for myself. I would love to meet other travelers along the way and share new experiences together!

Andreea
Bucharest
Hi! I'm Andreea, 27 years old. I've been living in Bucharest for a little over two years, and I love exploring new places around the city. I work from home, so I'm always up for a good reason to get out of the house. 🤣 🐶 I have an 8 year old dog (she’s still super playful and full of energy) & a one year old cat 🐱 Some of my favorite things include walks in the park, going to workshops and festivals, discovering cozy cafés and tea spots, and playing board games.
I'd say it's generally pretty safe objectively. It doesn't always feel the safest, but it's not very common for stuff to happen and I've walked alone at night. Granted, I was scared shitless and often resorted to pretending I was on a call, but that's also my paranoia 😅

Unless you go to a creepy area, which you can tell by it being very dark, houses looking poor pr bad, Bucharest is extremely safe. You just have to be cautious as everywhere else. I’ve walked at night with no problems till now.
