My name is Ștefania, and I am an architect by profession, with an unbridled curiosity and a desire to explore both myself and the surrounding world. I am interested in many things related to nature, space, and the mind [neuro-architecture, psychology, spirituality, photography, paper making, eco-printing, art with pressed flowers]. I love to travel, explore urban spaces and parks, and meet open-minded people. I consider travelling an excellent way to understand not only the world but also oneself.

Romania is a very safe country. You get the occasional pickpocketing, but nothing else. I have traveled by car, bus, train, etc, and I never felt in danger. You can fly to the major cities pretty much from all the big European capitals and don't limit your visit to just Bucharest and Dracula's castle. You will be missing a lot of what RO has to offer if you just go there.

The center was totally safe. I arrived there by train and started to walk to the center. You can climb to the castle in the hill by walking then see the area. Then from the city center you can visit the the cave outside of the city far away 45 minute by walking. I don't recommend to walk since it is a forest and there are no people there. I only spent 30 lei there food included. I didn't stay there at night

I live in inner Melbourne and move between there and farming regions in south west Victoria. Joining this app as I'm planning my own European travels but open to meeting other travellers in Victoria too, down the line. I dont know the city so well, really, but I'm working on it. I'm also a birdwatcher and nature lover so can make some suggestions in that regard.

I'm a 50ish Irish Lady who loves to travel and explore and meet new people. I mainly house and pet sit when I travel but I've also done volunteering and couchsurfing as I go. I don't drink but I know how to have fun without alcohol 😁. I like trail running (I'm very slow), CrossFit (I laugh a lot at myself doing this), yoga (who doesn't want to feel zen and find inner peace).

I traveled here as a WWOOFer and stayed on two farms, by which I made friends and traveled with them in the city—they happened to be locals which made exploration of the neighboring cities easy and so much fun.

Hello, My first visit to Bucharest and I am delighted by what I see. A mix of old and modern, sometimes a bit confusing, but very pleasant to look at. I plan to come back to Romania to visit Transylvania. Fatma
