An old-born eternal girl trying to follow the path written in stars with less complaints (; The current philosophy: it is better that some stupid dreams do not come true (or come true far later than expected). Tomorrow may be better, so let's opem for it!

About me

Originally from Kraków but living in Warsaw and loving this patchwork work of art. I study acting (almost done) and I cannot imagine other way to express myself. I love traveling, especially those solo trips and even m afraid of everything because world is so big and makes me scared sometimes, I build my strength and power by exploring as a strong woman not giving a fuck what my anxiety is telling me.

About Me

Hi! I’m Laura ☀️ I’m a first year sociology student who works remotely and I want to explore some place this summer a little bit more. Last year I did a month of travelling through Europe and I caught a maajor travel bug 🐛 A little bit more about myself: - My interests are around sociology, psychology, people in general - Social work is a big part of my life - I’ve been a volunteer in a few organisations throughout the years, mostly about education, youth, animal right and climate and I also work in a home education school 🏫 - I love to learn about anything and everything that peaks my interest, right now I’m learning Japanese and I plan trips even when I don’t have concrete plans for them - I’m veery passionate about food 🥪 I love visiting new places and trying new things, but I’m also a pretty decent cook. I’m vegan myself, but if you are not - that’s perfectly okay! - I used to be not very sociable, but right now I find so much fulfilment in fostering new connections - that is also a big reason I joined this community! Hopefully I’ll be able to meet some of you and I’ll be able to share much more about myself than I could possibly write here, but also get to know you 🤩 I’m in a place where I’m wondering (and kind of worrying) a lot about my future and exploring a lot of possibilities - that is also one of the reasons I want to travel and meet various people, I think that’s the best way to learn (about life in general) ☺️ Thank you for reading! Hope to hear from you 🫶

Solo travel

I felt safe, but at times I was a bit anxious. I mostly traveled alone, but a relative who lives there had already told me about the most popular and must-see places. 1. Muzeum Narodowe 2. The Royal Lazienki Museum 3. Museum/Palace Wilanow 4. Museum Fryderyka Chopina … I couldn’t quite enjoy the food. There was one place I loved, though, and I visited it multiple times to have pizza: Pizza by the Slice👌🏻

Group travel

We (3 girls) did not feel safe at all. We were visiting for only one day, but that was still enough for us to be assaulted by men 3 times and once we had to report an exhibicionist in a late night bus. Disgusting experience, i trust polish men no more

About Me

Hi, I’m Roop! I’m a university student in London. I’m a Portuguese national, with Indian background. I’m planning to spend my year with lots of adventures and travelling. I’m excited to use this platform to build genuine connections and safe travel! I would love to show you around in London. I’m planning to travel around in summer June-July, still exploring the opportunities and would love to have a travel buddy! (An affordable trip as a student) I’m thinking of Japan (preferably country side, to experience mountains, seaside, and summer festivals), Türkiye (just something about their culture and language draws me in, again I’m a big mountain girl, somewhere with good landscape), Bulgaria, Slovakia, south east Asia, and many more. I’m still exploring the options. Would love someone to convince me! 😭

For April I decided to solo travel again after a long break. I am super excited to get to know you. your cities, and impressions in general! Always down for a walk, coffee, beer, reading or cooking session or a protest or community gathering :D I am a queer feminist and engage in human rights and environmental activism.
