About me

Hello! My name is Taya, short for Taisa, and i loooove to travel! I’m from Belarus, but my country is in difficult political situation, and I’m unfortunately can’t come to my homeland as I’m politically repressed there :( So right now I live in Poland, Warszaw, and step by step I’m becoming local there! I know all popular and local places and I can show you around!:) Me and my boyfriend Eugene fancy wild camping, hiking, and hitchhiking. Together we dream about travelling all over the world. I believe that life is easy and world is open to you, that possibilities are endless and people are friendly and want to help! I would love to meet you girls and make friends all over the world, to help one another and exchange experiences and cultures!

About me

Hey everyone! 🌍 I'm Gosia, an 18-year-old student from Warsaw, Poland, and I'm about to kick off my Interrail adventure. I'm super excited to explore these amazing places and would love to connect with new people along the way. 👯‍♀️ I'd love to hang out, explore together, or just grab a coffee. ☕️If you have any must-see recommendations or hidden gems I should check out, I'm all ears! 🎒✨ And if you'd be up for hosting me, that would be incredible—I’d be happy to return the favor if you're ever in Warsaw! 🙌 Looking forward to meeting some awesome new friends on this journey!

Is Warsaw safe to travel?

4.7 /5

Based on 20 experiences

Solo travel

I went to Warsaw on Christmas eve and despite this I managed to have a good time. There was lots to see and it was very cheap. I felt safe as a woman. I went around to the old quarter and Christmas markets. The food was also delicious.

I felt safe in warsaw and loved walking around. At night I preferred to stay in well-lit areas of course, normally while walking back to my airbnb in the "old town" which is a great area to stay in! My itinerary was taking as many tours as possible, such as the "WW2 in warsaw" free walking tour. I recommend the Pierogis at the restaurant "Restauracja Głodomory Mokotów" just south of a BEAUTIFUL park called Palace on the Isle (Pałac na Wyspie)

Super cheap and ate very good. Got a good hostel 30 seconds away to a huge club street. Like 10 minutes from the main area of the city. Enjoyed really cheap fun shots. There was a club named “Havana” nearby. Great club. Wonderful art n very cold. Not a lot of English speakers but can get around easily with just saying Kurwa.

Solo travel

I liked Warsaw. This city is so calm. Young generation know English and they are helpful. Food is avarage but I came from Turkey so I may felt that because of the awesomeness of Turkish cuisine. Public transportation is so easy and cheap. If you stay 1 month I recommend you get a 1 month public transportation card
