About me

Hiii! I'm extremely bad when it comes to the "about me" section 😄 Recently I've been trying to motivate myself to travel and meet new people. I find it a little bit difficult. For almost 2 years I've been working in a TV corporation and I feel my life sparkle is disappearing. That's why I'm pushing to refind excitement in my life. I would love to meet some amazing people here, exchange experiences or just have a good time

About me

Hi! I’m Laura ☀️ I’m a first year sociology student who works remotely and I want to explore some place this summer a little bit more. Last year I did a month of travelling through Europe and I caught a maajor travel bug 🐛 A little bit more about myself: - My interests are around sociology, psychology, people in general - Social work is a big part of my life - I’ve been a volunteer in a few organisations throughout the years, mostly about education, youth, animal right and climate and I also work in a home education school 🏫 - I love to learn about anything and everything that peaks my interest, right now I’m learning Japanese and I plan trips even when I don’t have concrete plans for them - I’m veery passionate about food 🥪 I love visiting new places and trying new things, but I’m also a pretty decent cook. I’m vegan myself, but if you are not - that’s fine! - I used to be not very sociable, but right now I find so much fulfilment in fostering new connections - that is also a big reason I joined this community! Hopefully I’ll be able to meet some of you and I’ll be able to share much more about myself than I could possibly write here, but also get to know you 🤩 I’m in a place where I’m wondering (and kind of worrying) a lot about my future and exploring a lot of possibilities - that is also one of the reasons I want to travel and meet various people, I think that’s the best way to learn (about life in general) ☺️ Thank you for reading! Hope to hear from you 🫶

About me

Hi! I'm Oriana — originally from Romania, and I've been living in Poland for the past 3 years. I don’t speak Polish fluently yet, but I understand a little (around A1 level – yes, very basic, I know 😂). I’m happy to host you, or show you around or explore together. While I’m not into nightlife that much, I don’t know the trendiest bars or clubs, but I have both Polish and international friends who can help with great local tips. 😌 If you have any questions, feel free to ask! 😊 PS: My cat is not living with me. ❤️ #Erasmus Alumni 🌎 #Alumni YouthPass Program

About me

Hi! My name is Юля, Yuliya or Julia. it's the same thing, but it sounds different :). I'm 30 and I still don't know who I want to be when I grow up. my dream is to see as much of the planet as possible, learn to write music and find love (this is optional 🤭). But seriously, I am a political emigrant who fled from Belarus to Poland. The last few years have been hell, so at the moment I am again looking for myself, discovering the world and trying to enjoy life. So… tell me your story and let’s be friends).

Is Warsaw safe for women?

For me, Warsaw has felt safe and comfortable to live in. I can walk around the city, explore new neighborhoods, and just enjoy the atmosphere without really worrying. People are respectful, the streets feel calm, and there’s a sense of order that makes it easy to relax and settle in. It’s the kind of place where you can live your life normally and feel at ease doing it.

Generally Poland is one of the safiest countries. Warsaw is the capitol, so there's may arrive different kinds of people but especially in the centre is a lot of police. I almost everyday come back home late in night and never anything dangerous happened.
