Alesund is a picturesque seaport city situated on the West Coast of Norway, known for its unique concentration of Art Nouveau architecture. The city resides on a row of islands extending towards the North Atlantic, offering breathtaking fjords, towering mountains, and a stunning coastline. Alesund is particularly famous for its distinctive architecture, a result of the city-wide reconstruction following a devastating fire in 1904, characterized by ornamental and colorful buildings with fairy-tale turrets. Visitors to Alesund can look forward to diverse activities such as hiking to the city viewpoint Aksla, visiting the Atlantic Sea Park - one of the largest saltwater-aquariums in northern Europe, and exploring the picturesque island of Godoy, offering panoramic views of the offshore islands and high peaks.

My favorite place in Norway is Ålesund. I really loved the artistic and colorful vibe there. If you go to Norway, I really recommend there. More than Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger, I felt that they have beautiful atmosphere. A view from the hill was splendid and there are a big library and some cafes. Highly recommend 💕💕
