Nagoya, Japan’s fourth-largest city, is conveniently situated two hours away from Tokyo by bullet train on the Southeastern coast of Honshu. Nagoya is a very beautiful place for solo travelers. It is safe and the cost is not that high. Easy to find a place to stay and the food is very nice but people don’t like foreigners that much I think.
