About me

Hey sisters! My name is Marilia (she/her), I am 24 years old and I come from Greece 🌱 I am currently pursuing my masters degree in Migration Studies in Copenhagen, Denmark. I love exchanging life experiences and connecting with people through bonds of solidarity and female empowerment. I would be more than happy to help you find your way around Copenhagen ( I know it's so expensive, so some advice from a local is always helpful!). I might also be available for hosting up to one person but my room is rather small (12sqm🥲) but we could figure something out! Hopefully we will meet sometime soon! Travel safe, Marilia 🌸

Group travel

I went to Copenaghen in March 2024, i went there to meet a friend i was staying a bit out of Copenaghen (20mns by train) i walked alone in this little city in the morning and was fully safe, i visited the city with him and my 2 other female friends, we also went alone a couple of times and always felt safe, it was easy to move around and everyone speak even a little bit of English. We all had a lot of fun!

Solo travel

I did my very first experience as couch surfer while i was travelling alone and I felt completely safe!! I loved the experience. Copenhagen is a very tidy and cleaned city, full of young people and full of things to do!! Many ways to enjoy the city.

I liked Copenhagen very much. It has a beautiful architecture. Its people are truly as happy as they say. It has clean streets, and there are free music events in the evenings in front of the City Council building. People are dancing and having fun. You can see many cyclists. Beer is cheap at the grocery store

The weather was miserable: cold and rainy the entire time, with some snow flurries. Everything is quite expensive, similar to Switzerland. The big food market was really cool, but I got food poisoning from the salmon. I really enjoyed the free walking tour, specifically the politically incorrect one. This trip helped me to decide that I definitely don't want to live in Copenhagen.
