About me

I'm a young-ish woman (38) who loves to travel. I would love to do it more, and I would really like to find some like-minded women around the world to meet up with and just have some fun together. I love exploring new cities, museums and other cultural experiences, parties/nightlife, trying new foods and learning about different cultures. I'm very open-minded and love meeting new people, but because I get pretty shy it can be difficult to make friends, even though I really want to. About me as a guest/host: - As a guest I am quiet and respectful. I mostly just do my own thing but I would also love to do something together if you'd be up for it. - In meetups I am open to just about anything. I love nature, culture, animals, nerdy stuff, and I would never turn down food or a party. - As a host/guide I am very calm and flexible. I won't mind showing you around or letting you stay with me for a couple of days. I can show you around the area and help you with most things you might need.

Copenhagen, Group travel

I went to Copenaghen in March 2024, i went there to meet a friend i was staying a bit out of Copenaghen (20mns by train) i walked alone in this little city in the morning and was fully safe, i visited the city with him and my 2 other female friends, we also went alone a couple of times and always felt safe, it was easy to move around and everyone speak even a little bit of English. We all had a lot of fun!

Copenhagen, Solo travel

I did my very first experience as couch surfer while i was travelling alone and I felt completely safe!! I loved the experience. Copenhagen is a very tidy and cleaned city, full of young people and full of things to do!! Many ways to enjoy the city.

Copenhagen, Solo travel

Copenhagen was always a bucket list city for me, and as one of my first soli travel destinations I really enjoyed it! I stayed at NextHouse Copenhagen, which was a lot fancier (and priced accordingly) than hostels I was used to in other cities. Had I found a cheaper alternative, NextHouse would probably not have been my first choice, but it is an excellent “luxury hostel” that offers a very social atmosphere, group events, lots of in-house entertainment (gym, games, social nights) and is very accessible to the center of the city. The highlights of my stay were exploring Freetown Christiania (free) and visiting the Museum of Architecture (6€ entry). I recommend trying some local food as well, I know Nordic food often gets a bad rap in terms of blandness but Danish food offers lovely variations on pickled & preserved fish/veggies.

There is so beautiful and peaceful. There are many unique Scandinavian design cultures. Also, some museum are so unique, you will never be disappointed!! Food.. it’s a opened sandwich in general. Potato and meat ball is also good!!
