I’m an 19 years old design student from Taiwan🇹🇼 Sooooo, I’m going to Istanbul as a global volunteer, and after that, I’m planning to explore Italy and France for around two weeks!🥰 It’s a big adventure for me—I’ll be traveling solo and self-funded, with a budget of just €1500. Is Taipei safe for women?
You can wandering around the city fearless and people are kind here, we are heart warming and love to helping others. Public transportation is convenient here. If something bad happens you can reach out to the police easily.
Posted: November 6, 2025I spent 4 days solo travelling in Taipei and felt very safe walking around alone. Public transport is very easy to navigate and the people here are friendly and helpful. I was looking to buy tea (a specific brand for a friend) they suggested some stores where I could go and even showed me different teas to even try. Totally loved the experience here and I would definitely return to explore more.
