Hello! I am Jenny, a 19 years old language student studying in Tamsui, Taiwan! I love traveling, I am also an avid reader and learner of different languages and culture. My hobbies are reading, crafting, knitting, journaling, learning language, playing the piano, writing letter/postcards and meeting new people! I also love visiting Museum, and hope to work in one someday. I also volunteer when visiting a new country, to gain deeper understanding of a culture! I am fluent in English, speaking intermediate German, and beginner Italian!

I’m Yi Shiuan Chu from Taiwan. I‘m now Erasmus in Germany and I really like the vibe and culture difference in Europe. I hope I can meet different travelers and share stories with them in this group!

Hi, I'm Natalie. 🙌 I'm really happy to make friends and share the stories, even though I'm an introvert 😊. I have been to 3 countries so far. I'm trying to plan the fourth next year.😄

Hi there! I'm using this because I'm going to have a solo trip in Nz for 14 days! Wishing I can have a chance to meet some travellers!

Taichung is generally very safe. walking around alone at night is safe. sometimes I see other people still exercising even at 10pm. but avoid parks in the evening as sometimes creeps can frequent parks.

Overall, it’s a super safe place (just like other cities in Taiwan). For example, you can leave your phone on the table while you go order food, or even forget your keys on your motorcycle without them being stolen 🤣 But compared to other cities in Taiwan, it’s still a little less safe because there are more homeless people around the railway station, and there are also more gang members than in other places.
