Hello to all of the wonderful women out there! My name is Joanna. I come from Poland, but I live, study and work in northern Norway - in Tromsø. I have a degree in political science and worked testing video games for a while. I work in tourism industry in Tromso and love talking about the city as well as Norway in general. I've travelled all over Europe including Albania, Switzerland, Greece, Italy or France. I also hiked a lot in polish and slovakian mountain ranges and in the Himalayas in Nepal! I adore meeting new people and I'm a talkative and curious person. I have a lot of stories and observations to share. I love hiking, being out in nature, video games, alternative music and good restaurants. I love to travel and can find something fascinating in every place. I live in student housing where I can host one person at a time for a short amount of time.

Hey I‘m Paula and 19 years old. I‘m from Karlsruhe Germany, I have been living there for 16 years. I just finished school here in Germany and know I want to get to know the world better. From October til December I am going to stay in Tromsø, as I would like to learn Norwegian because my plan is to study physics there. Because of that my goal is to become fluent in Norwegian and get to know the country and the culture.

Is Tromso safe for women?
Safe city to walk around, and you will find helpful people. The northen part of Norway people are more helpful and meeting. When it comes to Tromsø it has a bit of tourists during the winter - wich some people may not be a big fan of (government is not doing enough). But you are safe as a single woman here.
