About me

Hey hey everyone! I'm a linguistics and media student in Passau and enjoy learning new activities, knowledge and also getting to know new people!I love discovering and seeing different and new cultures and architecture and am especially interested in new food from all over the world. I'm vegetarian btw:) I'd love to travel more but it's expensive but I have a lot of time right now so I try to do a lot now, I still want to see hamburg and London this year! I love coffee, metal and cats but I'll try to befriend any animal if I can haha. Other than that I love meeting my friends and sometimes partying although I don't drink alcohol. If I want a more quiet evening I read or watch a movie or think about what's wrong with the world haha

About me

Hi my name is Julia, I'm 23 and living in Passau, Germany currently. I've just finished my law degree and will be staying here for a few more months (till April, probably). I'm what you'd call a true European at heart because I've now lived in 3 countries in the last 5 years. I'm natively Bulgarian (Varna born and raised ) and moved to Germany for university. I did a bachelors program in Toulouse, France, on the side, though. I have a passion for languages and speak enough of them to know that I want to learn all languages lol. They've taken a setback because of my degree (finals) in the past year or so, and I'm trying to get back on track with Mandarin since it truly gives me so much joy to learn. I'm doing a language study program in Singapore in August to treat myself for graduation. Since I've graduated but haven't got a job secured yet, I thought I'd spend the time travelling and / or meeting new people since my day to day has been quite monotone lately. I have this terrible characteristic that I don't mind moving abroud all alone but can't bring myself to travel solo for a short trip. I have no idea why this scares me so much, but here I am trying to break out of that fear.

Is Passau safe for women?

Passau is really safe, you should only be careful during the night around the train station and the central bus station (ZOB). Everywhere else you can walk alone without any safety issues and during the day everything is perfectly safe
