Hello, I'm Cléo! I'm 18 years old and I live in France :) This summer, I'm solo traveling in Europe, from France to Sweden & Finland, following by the Baltic countries, Poland, Czech Republik and Germany. I am looking for travel buddies, feel free to join! I love travelling, as ecologically as possible, while meeting people and discovering local cultures. Is Nantes safe for women?
Be careful when going out at night, especially if you are alone. Prefer going out during the day. I have never had any problems personally, but some neighborhoods can feel unsafe. It is better to be accompanied.

I don't really feel safe in Nantes. During the day, I don't really have any problems, apart from street harassment in certain areas such as Commerce. However, at night, you have to be very careful. Many neighborhoods are dangerous, particularly Hangar à bananes, which is one of the places where you can party at night.

It really depends on where you go, I personally never felt in danger, even alone in the dark because i take ways I know well. But there are some places that are more dangerous or at least scarier at night like the city center where there is a lot of drug dealing.
