Eugene is a really safe, sweet, and sleepy little town. It’s a relatively safe and good place to be unhoused, so we have a lot of unhoused people, which can make houses folks feel uncomfortable. But those populations are not a safety risk—statistically, it’s gonna be that guy you met on the app/someone you know— so no fear.

I was a student-athlete for my time of 6 months in eugene running for their track season. I found Eugene to be a safe and country vibe place. UO was amazing and it was an amazing experience!! The people were lovely and always so helpful.

I’m faculty at a local university, but spend as much time as I can traveling, scuba diving, and generally adventuring and meeting new folks. I look forward to connecting with folks, in your city or mine ☺️
