Very safe and small town. It is just across the bridge for Maysville, KY. Centrally located for day trips to West Virginia or Kentucky. Nice park area right next to the river. Maysville has a wide variety of restaurants juat a few miles from Aberdeen.

I like to say I grew up in a swamp in Texas but really it was just oak trees and copperheads and scorpions. And lots of sand and natural springs. I left there 20 years ago. I hitch hiked s as does hopped freight trains throughout the country until I learned it well. Then I decided I’d visit some Hawaiian islands and I vowed to travel anytime the option arose. I’d find work, quit, fly to Thailand, fly back to the states, work more and take a trip to backpack Germany. I loved South Wales. As in Wye Valley, not New South Wales. I’ve got stories for days, weeks even. I’ve visited and lived in 13 countries I think. I follow my daydreams and my visions. Eating sacred cacti in Arizona taught me a few things, one of which is that life would come freely and I would be my best self if I flow with the vagabond current and not resist it. I’m not a worker bee though I can build a house, raise a farm, draw yer face, forage medicinal plants and fungus, track, hunt, blend in with snobs in 600 euro a night hotels, I can talk smack to famous people and get in with locals anywhere I go. I can adapt to most any environment, immerse myself in the culture, and share ideas like pollen. I blow glass too. It’s one of my passions. I’m curious and sharp witted. I’ve protected vulnerable people. I’ve softened the chips on a lot of shoulders and I’ve hugged a lot of necks. I don’t plan on ever being bland though I’m brave enough to blend in. I hope that helps shine some light~ Me
