Kharkiv is a nice place. It's known for its clear streets, lots of bunches and love of its residents. I live here for already 5 years (currently in the oblast) and I never been sexually assaulted, I never really worried about possiblity of being raped or something. However, as in many other places, weird dudes exist, so it is better to make actions to feel safe. The main thing to be concerned whether you want travel here — is war. Sometimes we have normal days, but most of time the air alert is on. I used to live in such environment, so my I do not feel souch stress unless the explosion is nearby me. But all people who travel there must be aware of risks. Stand with Ukraine🩵💛🇺🇦
Posted: February 14, 2025Well, it's in Ukraine and it's close to russia so i wouldn't say it's safe AT ALL. Especially, since the full-scale invasion has begun... I will be there in a few days but i highly doubt it's safer than it was before (missiles, air sirens all the time...).

Kharkiv is extremely beautiful, unique, and vibrant city. There are many international students, mostly studying in Karazina State University. It’s one of the biggest city in Ukraine, so many cultural events and nonprofit initiatives are held there. It’s not perfect, but we, locals, love nevertheless. Oh sorry, it used to be like this, before russians decided to bring the famous russian peace to it. Now it is constantly under attack. Don’t go there. It’s not safe. And it won’t be until russian empire, which goes under the name of russian federation is destroyed.

Kharkiv is city on the North East of Ukraine which is generally super safe and interesting to explore. But unfortunately in the war time it is not safe as it is very close to russian border. that's why i dont recommend visiting it right now. but after a war, you are welcome!!

Currently, not in Ukraine ********************************* Hi, everyone! :) A few words about me, I am an open-minded person who is crazy about music. My other passion is travel. I love walking and looking around. I'm interested in everything in this life, from architecture to economics, from music to astronomy. I'm always looking for a way to learn about different cultures, people. I like to have fun, go to dances, climb the castles, meet foreigners, go to cinemas. But I'm also fine to stay at home and watch TV shows with food all day. Sometime I share a dinner/lunch with my hosts and it is important to say that I've been a vegetarian all my life, so please please no for steak houses 😂
