I think city center is a pretty safety, people are friendly and nice. You should avoid countryside regions I have a feeling of safety in the city. My own concerns about robberies, carjackings, physical assaults, harassment in public places, and discrimination, I would say it is low.

Dnipro has a pretty high criminality level, especially with robberies. My phone been stolen once and my purse too. Usually it happens in transport or shop. Also I feel unsafe walking in the dark. It may be ok before 9PM in public places but not in the courtyards, for example. As a woman I feel unsafe walking in the dark in uncrowded places

Dnipro is not safe because of war and russia's regular attacks and bombs. So I would not suggest going there. The same is for other Ukrainian cities and towns at the east. russia is a terrorist state
Posted: December 30, 2024City with the highest crime rate among Eastern Europe in 2023. Love this city, yet would not recommend walking around alone after dark, better to take a taxi to accommodation and avoid no-people areas&shady areas such as main square, railway station, bus station, bazar, any alcohol selling point, any underground/under the bridge area after 10pm. In the daylight it is pretty chill to go anywhere.

I am studying remotely as a translator at the Odessa National Mechnikov University. I dream of traveling and seeing as many countries as possible. I am very interested in foreign cultures, traditions, customs and of course food. I love trying new and traditional food in other countries and cities. I love the sea and the mountains, I can't choose one, you can find peace there and there. I dream of traveling around Europe and beyond, meeting people, learning new things. I hope that in this app I can find new friends in new cities:)
