City with the highest crime rate among Eastern Europe in 2023. Love this city, yet would not recommend walking around alone after dark, better to take a taxi to accommodation and avoid no-people areas&shady areas such as main square, railway station, bus station, bazar, any alcohol selling point, any underground/under the bridge area after 10pm. In the daylight it is pretty chill to go anywhere.
