Gaziantep is a city that contains both heaven and hell. But I must point out that hell outweighs. If you are thinking of exploring Gaziantep with a local friend, I would suggest it because it is a very old city, it has a lot of culture, nice museums and very much delicious traditional dishes but I don't think it's safe for solo travelling. Unfortunately we may encounter verbal abuse in the late hours (not too late, after like 11 pm.) Although not often, you may encounter extortion. I've been living here for about 18 years, so I've become immune to Gaziantep. If you visit Gaziantep, you can use tram for transportation. There will be no problem because there are security guards at all tram stops. And maybe use apps like "Getir" to take taxi because it will let you know approximately how much it will cost to go ...there from ...somewhere.

Hello! I'm İlke Çerçi. I'm 20 years old and I'm studying Computer Engineering. I love listening to rock music especially Muse, Radiohead, Jeff Buckley and The Smiths🥹... I'm planning to join Erasmus+ program in between February 4th and June 27th and I will be in Czechia. I love interacting with people from different cultures as long as we're all safe of course 😊 I'd like to explore some of the good locations around Europe. Please let me know if you have any advices for me🫶🏼💜
