I worked in a hotel and everyone was really really nice and friendly. I felt really save and I even felt comfortable to hitchhike. Still there were many men and especially at the beach many men would try to talk to you and laying in peace by yourself was hard sometimes. Still after some time you will find the quit and lonely places where you can stay by yourself without being hit on all the time :)

Recently quit my job to chase my dream of taking my campervan abroad. Currently travelling Portugal, Spain & France (possibly Andorra too) till Mid November when I have to return to the UK. Originally from Australia, but living in the UK. I love the outdoors, sunshine, exploring new places, yoga & I'm learning to surf. I'm passionate about sustainability, feminism and trying new things. Solo van life can get lonely so looking for like minded women to share adventures with.
