Islamabad has several sectors that are safe and pleasant to explore, especially E-9, F-6, F-7, F-8, F-10, and I-8 (particularly their main market areas). These neighbourhoods are great for hanging out and offer a comfortable atmosphere. I’d recommend being a bit more cautious in the G sectors, as they can vary in terms of safety. Many of the other sectors don't offer much in terms of attractions and are best avoided if you're on your own. The city has also recently introduced a decent network of buses, which are safe and convenient to use. However, they tend to get crowded during peak hours.

Islamabad is a nice and calm place to live in, everything's laid back here but recently there's been a spike in the population cuz a lot of people have started moving here so it's not as good as it used to be in terms of traffic, but as someone who has lived in Khi, Lhr and Isb, i'd say it's drastically better than these
Posted: March 8, 2025I think Lahore is one of the safest cities in Pakistan due to it being the most developed city in the country. We also have our first female Chief Minister of the province so the city is slowly and steadily improving in terms of gender equality.

Karachi is not safe alone for girls, but if you have a person or in a group, it’s fairly safe. I would recommend travelling in groups of friends, and enjoy DHA and other nearby places. And would love to advise on where to visit.
Posted: January 28, 2025Its safer to live in gated societies. Its safer to travel with people you trust. I dont use public transport or cabs unless I really have to. People are really nice and helpful here but its better to drive yourself or rent a car. Thats what I do and I live in a gated society where I am free to walk at 3 am and no one bothers me but cant say the same about public roads.
Posted: January 20, 2025Lahore is a beautiful beau city to travel but I would prefer to travel with some company. You can travel alone but it depends on the area you are planning to visit. Most are safe, Some are safer and some are less safer. So take guidelines from the residents before deciding to travel alone or with a friend.

Pakistan is not much safe for solo traveler women, not all men are dangerous but it's a risk at night. Karachi is famous for robbery so stay alert there and bring some safety tools with you. Men staring is so common here

Varies from neighborhood to neighborhood. For the most part it is quite safe, specially in the locality where I live. Can go for a walk later at night. However wouldn't suggest walking alone as a woman, and would be best to have company while exploring islamabad
Posted: January 5, 2025Well over all the situation depends on which area of Lahore you are staying because different kind of people exist in different kind of areas and based on political and financial instability in Pakistan things do get unpredictable. I will advise all the women coming to Lahore to come through some mutual connects and friends because within a community you are safe and get welcomed in a more secure and guarded.

Islamabad is safest mostly the areas like f7, f10 f8 and f6 also bahria town and dha because there are always police and security nearby. And even if there are complaints about any activity the police take action immediately as the whole Islamabad is occupied by army.

Last year I went to Chitral (the Kalash valley) to be more exact and sad to report but the government has to do a lot to promote safe solo travel for women. I attended the chilam Joshi festival and although I went with a travel group, still at times I felt a bit unsafe amongst the locals. Also, the festival has become very commercialised... I wouldn't going as a solo woman traveller but women can go with a group.
Posted: March 16, 2024There were a lot of things to do and it was easier on the budget — I felt safe but also keep in mind I traveled with a group and also speak the local language. From hiking to shopping to eating, there were always many things to do and I had the best time
