The city centre is mostly safe, better not to stray off where there's no lights and you'll likely be fine. Personally I never experienced any harassment and i feel mostly safe. The public transport is also quite safe.
Posted: February 17, 2025I live in a village in Western Lithuania, and am familiar with various towns and villages in the area. It is very safe, and very calm. If you are obviously foreign, you might get some looks, but even that is changing very quickly

Greta
Hi, my name is Greta. I'm local in Lithuania, live in the west near the resort Palanga and Baltic sea. I'm bit of introvert who love to combine solo traveling with concerts of my favorite bands. During my free time I like to read novels or webtoons, do some fitness and listen music. I'm open to help and show around, give a lift to near places or host.
