in the day light it’s pretty safe, but people around are usually alcoholic or with no place to live do not walk in the dark!! however there are cool cafes and beaches: stroomi rand and paljassare that are pretty. not really safe place to stay, but good connection with city centre: trams are going till 23:00 or mb later
