Hola, Bonjour, Hello! Iโm an explorer at heart and love getting to know new cultures, especially through meeting locals, learning of their history, and food. I grew up in the Dominican Republic and have lived in 10 cities in North America. Iโm in Atlanta now but have lived in Toronto, NYC, and Denver to name a few popular places. Happy to give recommendations, or possibly host someone. Must love dogs though! I have 2 at home that would be there. I look forward to meeting fellow travelers.

I think itโs more meaningful to connect with people in the local communities when travel to a new destination. I am open to exchange culture and hangout .

Iโve been to Atlanta many times. Iโve taken the trains and walked in all sorts of neighborhoods. My only issue with Atlanta is that itโs crowded. Also, Iโm not a fan of Southern food after a day or two as itโs so unhealthy. But otherwise, Atlanta is a cool city to visit. Lots of fun neighborhoods - downtown, midtown, uptown, and buckhead. All are awesome.
Posted: September 30, 2023Food - Antico for pizza, Gios Chicken Almafitano is right next door and has the best chicken parm I've ever eaten. Sublime donuts, The Varsity is an Atlanta staple. Fox Bros BBQ. Ria's Bluebird for breakfast. Little Rey for a unique Mexican food experience (I recommend going for brunch and getting the pancakes!) Things to do - The Georgia Aquarium, World of Coke, National Center for Civil & Human Rights museum (all of those places are within walking distance of each other and you could get a CityPass to save $$). If you like sports, Atlanta United (soccer) and the Falcons play at Mercedes Benz Stadium which is a super cool place to visit, even when the Falcons are blowing another game. I love walking through Piedmont Park. We also have several markets - Krog Street Market, Sweet Auburn Market, and Ponce City Market which are good for eating/shopping/doing stuff. You can rent a bike or scooter and zip around the Atlanta Beltline as well. Have fun!
