44-yo single female. Pioneer member of Couchsurfing with fantastic reviews. Too many predators there now sadly so I'm happy I found this app! 🙌🏼 Very much into sustainability, climate change, nature and conservation. Environmentally-conscious. You're welcome to stay but please be considerate. Hygienic. Neat and tidy. Clean up after yourself. Keep things spick and span. Just basic normal rules for when being in a shared living arrangement 😈 Have had horror guests in the past so am sorry all this even needs to be said but, you know... those few bad apples.. 😡🤬 Spoiling it for the rest ✌🏼 Come stay with me and explore London! I'm in Zone 2, close to Camden Town. My location is central and convenient, and there are lots of public transport options! Happy to accommodate as I understand solo female travelling/backpacking because it's so me 😄 Looking forward to meet you! 🥰

Hi, I've travelled on my own a few times for between one and 11 months. Grew up in the South East of England, now living in London for 13 years but also moving to France, so splitting my time between Alpes Maritimes and London for the last few years. When in UK my friendship groups revolve around social running, mountaineering and kayaking, but I've been less active since COVID for a variety of reasons, including not living 100% anywhere for the last few years. I love being outdoors and drinking beer 😁🍻

I had been to London before and done a lot of the touristy things and was only going to be there for two days (just a quick stop before heading to Scotland) so I stopped a couple of places I’ve always wanted to see like Abbey Rd., Studios. London is a very safe city for a woman traveling alone, I took public transportation everywhere…the tube, the train, buses, it’s all very safe for solo women! I even got lucky with amazingly beautiful weather!!
Posted: July 13, 2025The city is intense — busy streets, iconic views at every corner, and a mix of cultures that makes you feel like you're everywhere and nowhere at once. Highlights? Walking along the South Bank at sunset, stumbling into cute bookshops in Soho, and the unbeatable people-watching in Camden. It’s not exactly a “restful” destination (bring good shoes and patience), but it’s definitely unforgettable.
