Ljubljana was the only place where I went and it felt like a home. The city is very beautiful and has a soul, people are kind, food is great, I recommend the place "Šeherzada" in the center of city. There you can get burger or kebab for 4-5€, big pizza is 8€, its really affordable and delicious. The city was quite expensive for me but I didn't spent that much, around 50-60€, I was there only for a day so can't recommend transport or place to stay ♡

The city is quite small, with many medieval streets, as well as a castle hill, which offers a magnificent panorama. It's necessary to visit the bar on the top floor of the skyscraper, where you can indulge in drinks with a view of the entire city. It's also worth trying the Balkan burek, Slovenian gibanica, and super-sweet Hungarian chimney cakes that are perfect for posting on Instagram.
Posted: October 14, 2023In my opinion, Ljubljana can be easily skipped during a trip to Slovenia. I didn't see anything there that couldn't be found in other cities. The capital was the weakest part of my trip, but the rest of Slovenia is wonderful and definitely worth a visit.
