I had a good time in Romania. I didnāt always feel very safe because of the many abandoned buildings, even in the center. But I saw a lot of police around. Itās a cheap country, public transport worked well, and even if there werenāt many activities, I still enjoyed a couple of days. Iād recommend it for a low-cost short trip.
