I am rather energetic person, who enjoys sometimes even simple things. I like spending time outdoors, but also with people or during cultural events. I might host you after finishing small repairs in my flat. I live with 2 cats. My big dream is visiting Portugal and Iceland.

Hello, I'm Raquel, as you can see on my profile. I'm Angolan, living in Poland. About me, I'm an outgoing girl. I like making friends, I like learning new languages. I'm curious in the kitchen. I'm the mother of a beautiful boy. Right now, we live in Lodz, and we love to travel. We've been taking a few trips to some cities in Poland. And it's been fantastic. It's something I've always wanted. To have my family, to be well. To be at peace with myself, with the people around me. And that's it. I'm here. Let's share our experiences. If you want to learn a language, get in touch with me.

I'm Kasia - short for Katarzyna. I love wandering around new places and exploring cities. I love the sea, and will go swimming even if for others it's too cold. I'm interested in films (studying to be a film editor) & (especially, but not exclusively, musical theatre) and I'm always open to learning a new language!
I've been in Łódź during the day and I've felt pretty safe. I really recommend visiting the Museum of the City of Łódź, it's one of the best museums I've seen in Poland. I'm definietly thinking about coming back again to see some more cultural and historical landscapes.
Posted: January 30, 2025Experienced: May, 2024I felt quite safe during my visit to Łódź. The city is vibrant and has a lot to offer. A must-visit is Piotrkowska Street, one of the longest commercial streets in Europe, filled with shops, cafes, and street art. The Manufaktura complex is also impressive, with its mix of history, shopping, and dining. For food, I recommend trying traditional Polish dishes at Anatewka or enjoying a modern twist at Gastromachina. If you’re a coffee lover, stop by Kawiarnia Kawa na Ławę. I stayed at a centrally located hotel which was comfortable and provided easy access to main attractions. Public transport in Łódź is well-connected and affordable, with trams and buses running frequently. My budget was moderate—I spent around 150 PLN per day on meals and transport. If you’re planning a visit, set aside time to explore the OFF Piotrkowska area for its unique atmosphere and local shops. Would definitely return!
