About me

Hi everyone, I an Trine, an extrovert and easygoing Norwegian lady in my late 50s. I partly live in Oslo and partly in a small coastal hamlet 1,5 hrs from Oslo. I like to get to know new people and I am passionate about languages. So far I speak fluent Norwegian (native speaker), English and German, intermediate French and basic Spanish. About Me

I’m 27. I live in Oslo,Norway and I study nursing. I love to travel but I feel like I haven’t been able to travel much because it’s so expensive. I would love to travel a lot more whenever I get the chance. I love to meet new people when I travel and learn from the locals about the culture and get inside info you can’t get from the internet. I’m mostly busy with school and work atm. Feel free to reach out about whatever.

Is Oslo worth visiting?

4.6 /5

Based on 29 experiences

Solo travel

I actually got stuck there for two days as I was trying to fly home. But I didn’t mind because I got to explore Oslo. I ended up sleeping at the airport and exploring the city during the day. The bus system was easy, the town was clean, and it was easy to communicate in English. I didn’t go out at night, so I’m not sure how safe the nightlife is.

Solo travel

Oslo, you cozy little beauty! Had such a lovely time wandering your streets — beautiful architecture, friendly people, and this calm, peaceful vibe tucked into every corner. But oh boy, for October, you were chillier than expected — I’m talking serious penguin-core weather. 🐧 I thought I packed enough layers… Oslo said, “Think again, pookie!” Would 100% recommend visiting — just maybe add one extra jacket you think you won’t need. (You will need it.)
