I felt safe everyday and everywhere, locals were so helpful and everyone speaks English, we booked the hot tub and sauna and it was really nice, it's easy to explore by car and there are many things to see, it's expensive but worth it

I took a ferry and a bus to go camping alone in Kristiansund. I had a great experience. I never felt in danger. I did itch hiking on the way back to catch the ferry and I found a very kind man to drive me. I felt safe all the time even during the drive with a stranger.

Solo travel experience
I hitchhiked from southern to northern norway and it was overall a very safe and friendly experience. While couchsurfing in Oslo, I met some amazing people. Nature on the roads is unbelievably beautiful. There is a general quiteness in the head while being in this country.
