Okay here are some safety tops from the perspective of a local. You gorgeous, stunning and brave ladies out there Pune has got your back! * So Pune is mostly safe at night especially the areas listed down below: 1)IT areas in Hinjewadi , Baner, Wakad ( Magarpatta should be avoided after 11ish however the township is absolutely safe). 2) Residential and commercial areas in Koregaon Park, kalyani Nagar, Viman Nagar, NIBM have really pretty cafés and some cool ass clubs for those ladies nights( clubs need to be attended with atleast another person going solo should be avoided). 3) Student areas in Katraj, Kothrud and Karve Nagar are bustling througout the night and generally safe. * Central Pune, especially Peth areas should be avoided after 10

1. Pune is pretty safe for women 2. Within City Travel: Uber/Ola etc. is available to use. Otherwise Metro at selective locations is available. Swargate, Katraj Depot, Deccan Bus Stand, Kothrud Bus Stand are a few places from where you can get buses to almost everywhere. 3. Try 'Misal' at Shree Krishna Bhuvan in Tulshibaug - personal favourite and recommendation. Pretty much there's good food at every food joint. In my experience it's also easy to veganise food (given veganising it means not adding alternatives to product) 4. Try to not explore Budhwar Peth in late evening - some parts of it are red light area. Areas to explore at night are: JM Road, FC Road, Camp, MG Road, Koregaon Park, Kothrud.

We were invited to a wedding, it was really exciting. The people are great! There are a lot of stray dogs, which made me feel a bit unsafe. If you are not outside in the night alone it’s totally fine. There is great nature to check out. One time we went to a place where they farm strawberries. The food there was so delicious and with fresh strawberries. One has to get used to the way they live (sleeping on the floor, peeing into a hole on the ground) but it’s all part of the experience and that’s what makes it so rememberable and exciting. I recommend renting a car.
