Is Bulgaria safe for female travelers?

I felt very safe in Bulgaria. The Bulgarians were kind and helpful. I only had the opportunity to visit Sofia. It's a beautiful city, but there wasn't much to do. You can spend a day doing everything, so you don't need to spend a lot of time. It was a good experience.

I met a lot of very interesting and kind people, eat a lot of good, local and traditional food. I really recommend bulgarian kitchen and atmosphere, it's really cozy i nice. Visited some atmospheric places, bars and interesting attractions:)
