Is Bruges safe to travel?

Solo travel experience

Felt very safe even walking alone at night! Stayed in a mixed dorm hostel and also felt safe. Food was very delicious but a little expensive. Definitely get the museum pass!! And try free walking tours

Solo travel experience

Brugia is good for one day, but then it becomes a bit boring, because it is so small and there is not much to do there. Despite this, it is worth going there, it's beautiful and safe.

About Me

Hey Ladies! I’m from Bogotá, Colombia and I studied Electronic Engineering, I currently work as a Software Engineer and since I traveled as a Digital Nomad through 6 countries for 5 months in 2022, I fell in love with getting to know places, cultures, languages and people. What impacted me the most during these 5 months was the desire to return to my country to get to know it, travel and enjoy it. I’ve traveled to San Agustin and the Tatacoa Desert in Huila, to Medellin and Envigado, I was fortunate to visit La Guajira and the Tayrona park in Santa Marta and go to the Astronomy Festival in Villa de Leyva. I’m passionate about the idea of continuing to explore, both in Colombia and abroad, and sharing experiences with people from different cultures.

Couple travel experience

Beautiful place and it indeed looks like a fairytale city. We went once by car and once by bicycle, the weather was good but be aware, the place is always packed, even thi we went on May and October! Only day it was okayish, was two weeks ago when we went night time, there was people but nowhere near daytime. Food not cheap but then, nothing is cheap in Belgium. A must-see in my opinion.

Solo travel experience

Bruges is beautiful, but after a walk there on the first evening, I felt like I had seen everything. I spent 2 days there and by the end I started to get bored.
