I'm going by bus/train to Istanbul to visit my workaway host-family <3 ..thinking this is a wonderful opportunity to get to know other people and their cities on the way! I am Sarah (she/her) a 24 year old living in Salzburg. There I study Communication, Culture and Participation with a focus on Diversity, Gender and Equity. I am passionate about learning & spreading knowledge about gender equality. I work in a Salzburg-based initiative that empowers women from diverse backgrounds through intercultural dialogue, workshops, and community events. I also love dance, music, crocheting, horses and photography - currently I am building my portfolio as a concert photographer. Most often I find myself travelling to new placee because of an event that is taking place there, like concerts, festivals or exhibitions - and I love love meeting new people on the way! I would much rather spend an afternoon exploring exciting topics of conversation over a nice cup of coffee with a new friend, than visiting the sights; hopefully building a lifelong friendship as we go! Upon meeting me I am usually a rather quiet person who listens and asks a lot. I value open communication, respecting boundaries and active listening. If this is given, I feel secure to open up and show my passionate and energetic side and thereby really connect with a person. I respect all walkes of life and appreciate various types of humour; and I'm definitely curious of meeting people that can challenge and expand my own worldviews.

We are looking vor a Place to Stay for our location Biarriz-San Sebastian- Barcelona- Nice- Cinque Terre- Tirest We are travelling on a very low budget and therefore habing a safe space to sleep at, while getting in touch with locals and other Travellers sounds perfect! Hi! I’m Ella, a 4th-year business student from British Columbia, Canada. I’ll be studying abroad this year, first in Salzburg, Austria, and then in Aix-En-Provence, France, and I’m hoping to make the most of my time in Europe through travel, hiking, skiing, and experiencing new cultures. I’ve played competitive volleyball for most of my life (including at the university level), and love all sports. I love the outdoors and am always up for anything active or outdoorsy. I also love exploring new cities, fashion, art, and music festivals, whether it’s rock, EDM, country, or indie, I’m there! I’d say I’m a budget traveler with a “worth-it” mindset, happy to keep things simple but willing to splurge for a good experience or memory. “Won’t spend an extra $25 to sit together on the plane, but would spend $150 to get into a luxurious spa” haha. Hi, I’m Anita, 32 years old. I was born and raised in Salzburg, where I still live, but I love to travel and explore new places. I spent four incredible years working on a ship, during which I circumnavigated the globe three times. Along the way, I had the privilege of experiencing diverse cultures and meeting amazing people from all walks of life. I’m a mix of a backpacker and a material girl because I enjoy both - the simplicity and beauty of nature when traveling as well as living a good life in the city.

I’m 22 years old and have a passion for languages and culture. I’m fluent in Serbian, English, German, (and semi-fluent in Korean), and I’m also working on improving my Spanish and Italian. Language learning has always been my way of connecting with people and exploring different perspectives, which is why I’d love to visit as many places as possible in my lifetime. When I’m not diving into language study, you’ll probably find me on the volleyball court. Playing volleyball has taught me discipline, teamwork, and how to push myself to new limits. I thrive on challenges, whether it’s perfecting my serve or navigating a new culture during my travels. I believe life is all about experiences, and I’m eager to explore the world, meet new people, and learn everything I can along the way.
