Kaohsiung is generally secure for solo female travelers. The city is well organised, and the citizens are warm and cooperative. It's a good and safe city for all the people I can walk on the streets in the midnight The only thing that you need to worry about is the traffic here. There are lots of car accidents because some people don't follow the rules. Best advice is taking the public transport or find a local give you a ride

Very safe except traffic, the driver here is not very considerate 😭and not everywhere has sidewalks so be careful when you are a pedestrian 😞🚶‍➡️ Overall, Kaohsiung is a safe and friendly place!me and my friends have never been robbed or assaulted, you can put your Mac on Starbucks table and go to the bathroom for a while and nobody will steal it, so i think it’s quite safe here!
