C in Cebu stands for canyoneering! For 2-3 hrs, you must have this adventure of unlimited jumping, trekking, going with the current, seeing waterfalls. Definitely, best decision to come to Algeria in South Cebu.

Although it looks bad because there are awful streets it's safe, I haven't had any problems in the last 6 months that I am living here. The public transport is safe, taxi or motorbike at nights are the option that I used the most.

As the 2nd most developed city after Manila City, Cebu City is very urban tourist spot, popular for transit with its location. - Walking alone at night will warrant precautions. Stick to lit streets, there are a lot of security guards near establishments. No shortcut is worth it alone! - Construction sites at night are a particular hotspot of danger with guard dogs, possible debris and harassment from bored workers - As a tourist, you will be a target for petty scams and stealing especially around terminals, outside of malls, etc. - Never pet stray animals. There is a lot in the streets and rabies is possible. Stay smart and vigilant!
