Manchu Picchu is breathtaking. I got sick there and spent a day in bed. I recommend taking meds or trying the local herbs for altitude sickness.
Posted: March 25, 2023I walked the Inca Trail. What made it difficult for me is the altitude. There was one day I´m surprised I made it to the camp at night time. Once rested and ate dinner, I was good to go again. I recommend staying in Cuzco for a few days to acclimatize yourself to the altitude.
