A lot of Okinawa is very very safe. American soldiers statistically tend to be the least safe part of staying here. Always be vigilant, but safety in Okinawa feels very respectful.

Recommend ridding scooter across the island to enjoy the sea view alone the way.

The northern part of the island has more nature scenery,however there’s no public transportation.

Definitely will want to visit again

Okinawa is an island and has beautiful natural views. The food is not expensive. There is a huge aquarium and Solutional cave. I have stayed there for 4 days. i suggest you can stay longer. The American Village is recommended.
