It was pretty safe, it's a cute charming calm city. I recommend the deer park to the south of the city, with the beach next door it's a great walk. The museum not to be missed is the ARoS museum, a museum of contemporary and classical art visible from all over the city with its rainbow panorama. And don't forget to pass by the nice latin neighborhood.

Solo travel

Aarhus is a very cute city with something for everyone. It’s a very cultural city where you get a good insight into the danish everyday life. I was there during the AARHUS FESTUGE which is a week of cultural activity such as concerts and events

Aarhus is generally safe. There has been a few people getting harassed on the streets, but it’s so few and not at all often. If you take normal precautions like don’t get in strangers cars and keep to bigger roads you’ll be totally safe. And even if you get in a strangers car og walk down an alley, the changes of you being safe are still very high

I do cycle past at night, and always without problems. The worry is to not have bike lights on so to not get a fine from police! I do only attend specific nightlife events, that are generally better. But I know that men in the city can be too drunk and hit on you. Unnecessary!! So perhaps there would be a worry of sa in bar/club contexts and late hour nights on weekends. But generally it’s manageable

Aarhus is very safe. Denmark is known to be one of the safest contries in the world. In Aarhus it is normal that you leave your stuff unattended when you go to the toilet and it will be very out of the ordinary if something happened or someone took your stuff.

Denmark is pretty safe so I often walk home alone in the city. But of course be aware of your surroundings and don’t go into places like parks or darks alley. It depends with city you are in but I will say Aarhus is safe but of course there have been some situations but very few

I live in Aarhus, a beautiful and very safe city in Denmark. The streets are peaceful and it’s easy to walk around anytime, even alone at night. I feel comfortable and secure here, which makes it a great place for solo living or traveling. The community is friendly, and there are plenty of cozy cafés, parks, and cultural spots to enjoy without worries.
