It was pretty safe, it's a cute charming calm city. I recommend the deer park to the south of the city, with the beach next door it's a great walk. The museum not to be missed is the ARoS museum, a museum of contemporary and classical art visible from all over the city with its rainbow panorama. And don't forget to pass by the nice latin neighborhood.

Aarhus is a very cute city with something for everyone. It’s a very cultural city where you get a good insight into the danish everyday life. I was there during the AARHUS FESTUGE which is a week of cultural activity such as concerts and events

Danes are very no problematic. Their culture is based on trust and you can feel it in the society. My only worry is the immigrants as sometimes they demonstrate behaviors not so typical for danish culture. But it happens only in the outskirts where there are big neighborhoods mostly inhabited by imigrants
Posted: March 25, 2025Aarhus is a very safe city with empathetic and helpful people. I am never afraid to walk in the streets at any time of the day, and public transportation is safe. Theft doesn’t happen often, and people are helpful.

Hi everybody! I'm new to TravelLadies. I am a Health Educator from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷, I work in the sexual health and gender-based violence prevention for children and adolescents field. I did my Bachelor's in Psychology and then my Masters in Public Health. I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in Comprehensive Sexual Education. I love dancing to anything, singing my heart out at karaoke, and watching movies and TV series. I enjoy learning about other countries through the eyes and stories of the people who live there. I’m always eager to learn something new and embrace new experiences. I love nature— mountains, beaches, forests, lakes, you name it! I always try to squeeze in a hike in every place I visit. And I am a big foodie 😋 My friends would say I'm open-minded, fun, empathetic, passionate, and funny. I care a lot about people and always try to help out in any way that I can. I'm very close with my family and friends and am in a loving relationship. 💖
