Family travel

I stayed in Iberostar Royal El Mansour. It was amazing. The whole hotel grounds are secure, staff is very friendly and welcoming and the food was amazing. There was literally everything. I highly recommend the hotel spa as well. There were so many programs as well for example horse riding, caravana (camel riding), watching dolphins in the sea, quad riding, pirate ship trip and you could even rent a small plane but you had to do it with the help of your guide. I mostly used taxis to get around since it was the easiest way but i have to warn you they drive like crazy! (There was also a two day trip around Tunisia and Sahara that we were supposed to attend but couldn’t in the end due to health issues)

Mahdia is a very calm town, the people are chill and very helpful. The fact that it’s small makes almost everyone knows everyone so no one will do anything bad in fear of being found out which is very likely xD

Mahdia is overall a safe place, it is small town where most people know each others, a close-knit community. So crimes against women are not the norm. The extend of it would be catcalling or conversation attempts.
