I went to Togo as a volunteer in a association. The experience was truly amazing, i met amazing people and I think that’s my favorite part about moving abroad : the connection you create with others. I was living in a Togolese family and it helped me to integrate myself and discover the culture in an other way.

I recently traveled to Lomé, Togo, and had a mixed but overall positive experience. While some locals were incredibly nice and helpful, I did encounter a few who expected payment for their assistance. However, the nonprofit organization I visited during my humanitarian efforts, was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making my time there rewarding.
