It is a student city och very small! It’s super safe! But as a woman you should always be careful at night. However it is very common to walk around alone during night. Usually people bike so I recommend that

It’s a small city but with a lot of students, which means it is buzzing with people during most hours! A lot of bike theft but that’s about what I’ve heard ever. I can mainly speak for the city center though.
Posted: November 14, 2025Lund is a very small city that is mostly students and not known to be very dangerous at all. It seems the most often crime is your bike being stolen, which is quite annoying. I am a woman and often walk home alone at night, even through the parks, and nothing suspicious has ever occurred. I’m not originally from here, so I wasn’t used to this level of safety. But this has been my experience.

Lund is very calm and safe. Student and older citizens are making the main population of Lund. Streets are well lit public transportation is very safe and frequently going most of people are home and not so much people on the street but I have never felt more safer than in Lund

I am an insatiable traveler I love humans and their capacity to think, explore and create. I am fascinated by the power of mother nature, mountains are where I feel happiest. Hoping to travel the world and meet beautiful souls on the way.

Hii, My name is Felicia Karlsson. I’m 21 years old from Lund, Sweden. I’m currently studying Mechanical Engineering at LTH and live in a corridor. I sometimes travel home to my parents which means the room is empty so hit me up if you’re traveling to Lund! There might be a spare bed otherwise I’d love to take a Fika or show you around town if you’re ever in Lund or Malmö! I’d also love to travel and explore the world before the “real 9-5” life starts! Hopefully thats hoppens someday
