Is Lund Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

Lund is a student city, so there’s always people outside to witness and report if something happens. There are also shops and restaurants/pubs to go to at nighttime if you want to ask someone about something.

It is a student city och very small! It’s super safe! But as a woman you should always be careful at night. However it is very common to walk around alone during night. Usually people bike so I recommend that

It’s a small city but with a lot of students, which means it is buzzing with people during most hours! A lot of bike theft but that’s about what I’ve heard ever. I can mainly speak for the city center though.

Lund is a very small city that is mostly students and not known to be very dangerous at all. It seems the most often crime is your bike being stolen, which is quite annoying. I am a woman and often walk home alone at night, even through the parks, and nothing suspicious has ever occurred. I’m not originally from here, so I wasn’t used to this level of safety. But this has been my experience.

Lund is very calm and safe. Student and older citizens are making the main population of Lund. Streets are well lit public transportation is very safe and frequently going most of people are home and not so much people on the street but I have never felt more safer than in Lund

Coming from Gothenburg, I find Lund to be exceptionally safe. It being a student city makes people being out and about pretty normal, and most people living here that aren’t students are families with children, so it feels very safe.
