Is Jonkoping safe for solo female travelers?

Jonkoping is generally very safe for solo female travelers. Swedish citizens are known for their respect toward women, and the crime rate is relatively low. The city is well-lit at night, and public transportation is reliable. Also, most locals are fluent in English, so communication won't be an issue. It's still advisable to adhere to basic safety precautions, like not walking alone late at night in less crowded areas, just as you would in any city you're unfamiliar with.

Safe city in general. You can lose something and the next day the police can call you because someone found it and brought it to them. Of course bad things happening here as well but not in that extentthat happen in other countries.

Jönköping is the safest city I have ever been and lived in! It’s amazing, life feels spectacular here, of course there are some areas that are a bit more dangerous than others, for example, I would suggest to avoid råslätt at night times, just to be sure and protect yourself, but other than this small aspect - it’s very safe here! You can walk in the city centre in the middle of the night and just enjoy the view! ☺️

I can say that is 100% safe, almost boringly safe. I always come back to home late, nothing happened. Even people are drunk on the street, they don’t care you or trying to talk with you. Everyone is looking own business
