For me, Toledo is quite safe. It is small and nothing usually happens. Maybe in the surrounding villages it is less safe, I don't know, but I would say that Toledo Centro is quite safe. More than anything because I walk every day to the university, and in winter that gets dark earlier I usually walk and nothing happens. Except for older people who look at you with a slimy face, but in general nothing.

Toledo is a pretty safe city in general, I've never felt scared so far, and going home alone at night is not a problem for me. You'll feel comfortable walking alone - as much as a woman can feel walking alone at night no matter how safe a city is, of course. There is no Uber but you'll be able to take taxis during the night.
