Is La Bombilla Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

I lived there for a year in La Bombilla, where I worked as a divemaster, and I felt very comfortable in the small fishing village where I stayed, as well as on the island in general. I haven’t been back since the volcanic eruption, but the town has definitely expanded quite a bit and developed further, becoming an even more beautiful place.
