Gandia is generally safe for solo female travelers. There are adequate provisions for public safety and it is a relatively peaceful town. However, as with any travel destination, it's advisable to observe standard precautions such as avoiding demonstrations or protests, not walking alone at night in less populated or poorly lit areas and avoiding displaying flashy valuables to limit potential petty thefts.
