How safe is Chinchon for solo female travelers?

How safe is Chinchon for women?

It is quite safe both day and night, although at night it is quite lonely, so if you are a person who is afraid of being alone at night, I do not recommend it. It's pretty safe for girls in large or small groups. The only unsafe times are during large festivities or events where there are people from different municipalities and there are usually thefts or vandalism, but the police are quite present during this time and the rest of the year.
