Is Candelaria Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

I visited Tenerife with my family this summer and we chose Candelaria because of it's a very significant place for native people and much more relaxed than the very touristic areas. We really enjoyed the town, the Guanches, and the beach there. Also we were able to visit the North area, Anaga, Masca and Teide. Also some more southern places like Puertito de Adeje and La Tejita. Puerto de la Cruz and La Laguna were my favourite cities.
