Is Badajoz worth visiting?

Is Badajoz safe for women?

It's usually very safe everywhere, but at night I have experienced a few bad situations with men, one at 10 pm and another at midnight. One approached me asking for help to get home and wanted me to go with him but it was a lie, he wanted to take me with him, and another made comments about my body in the middle of the street.
