Seongnam is really safe other than just drunk people on the main streets, but worries do come normally as a woman not used to this safety! It’s okay to feel worried, but there’s no reason to feel like that here!

Like the reset of Korea especially Seoul and surrounding areas are very safe in all possible ways. You can mostly relax and enjoy your stay. There aren’t really any dangers or strange people around here.

Seongnam

I’ve been living in South Korea since 2013, and during that time I’ve often traveled around Asia. Since 2024, I’ve been making a more intentional effort to explore Europe every summer when I visit. I’d love to meet interesting and friendly people along the way. (Covid and postponed many plan) 🥹 During the summer, I’m usually in Europe, but for the rest of the year I’m generally in a position to host someone at my place in Korea. So everything is open for discussion. I usually have a fold-out bed and clean bedding available just in case. If I’m not busy we can meet up too. 🤗 I don’t smoke and don’t drink and I prefer likeminded ladies. (I’m leaving for Europe in late May which means I can’t host anyone until I’m back to my place)
