Is Selangor safe for solo female travelers?

Generally safe, although not pedestrian friendly (recommend to drive or take a taxi, or use the public transport) as there are little to no walkways available for pedestrians. Cross roads only when the traffic lights turn green for pedestrians, as cars will not give way to pedestrians

Selangor is safe until you find yourself as a foreigner especially, alone at night or hours that are not too busy. Of course the men are the ones posing the safety risk. I would advise being cautious at all times and keeping yourself in areas that are not secluded.
